A batting cage so affordable, everyone can have one. Originally designed for backyard use, this net can be used by school leagues and minor leagues. The net comes with everything you will need, except the poles, to install it inside a building or in a backyard in less than 1 hour. Buy your poles (3/4" EMT conduit) at the local hardware store (Home Depot, Lowe's etc). You will need 28 poles for the 50 ft cage, 33 poles for the 60 ft cage, or 38 poles for the 70 ft cage.Choose from #15 twine (personal use), #21 twine (high school or summer league use), or #36 twine (college use).Totally portable, and can be used indoors or outdoors.The cage is about 10 ft tall and 10 ft wide at the top, 14 ft wide at the bottom. Lengths are 50, 60 or 70 ft.The netting is knotted with 1 7/8 inch mesh for #21 and #36 twine, 1 3/4 inch mesh for #15 twine. The yarn is UV treated and the netting is treated with our special protective coating that resists weather, provides UV protection and improves abrasion resistance for years of use.The netting is stretched over the outside of the frame, which means more usable space inside the cage.
