This solution is made with steam distilled, filtered, and ozonated water; 99.8% pure mined and resublimed ACS Grade Iodine; and 99% pure ACS Grade Potassium Iodide. The pipettes dispense approximately 20 drops/mL (590 drops/Oz) for a total of 1180 drops per bottle. Each drop contains 0.93 mg of Iodine and 1.85 mg of Potassium Iodide. The total Iodine content is thus 0.93 mg of Elemental Iodine, 1.42 mg of Iodine from Potassium Iodide, equaling a total of 2.34 mg of Iodine from all sources. Lugol’s Solution; also known as Lugol’s Iodine / Iodine-Potassium Iodide / Markodine / Aqueous Iodine Solution; has many uses. Bottles are made of sturdy amber glass.
